My family and I enjoy the outdoors greatly. We live in a state that provides a plethora of opportunity for the intake of fresh air, exposure to wildlife, 363 miles of beach along the Pacific Ocean, mountain trails and the liberty to reach heights of eleven thousand feet on foot and all other sorts of out-of-the-home to do's.
My current situation has hindered us from really getting out and enjoying Oregon. In 2001 I suffered a class III AC separation and in lieu of properly having it fixed, as soon as the pain went away, I ignored it - for the next 13 years. Now I am paying for it and I am awaiting surgery, laid off not able to work and waiting. These gluteus exercises are beginning to get the best of me as I wait ... and wait, for surgery.
Sometimes ignorance is not bliss.
This has allowed me to reflect on some of the fun times spent deep in the woods, or traveling down some trail, hunting with great friends or family time outside in Gods magnificent creation.
